Nicholas Thompson Brown
Nick Thompson-Brown is a multi-instrumentalist and music producer with over five years of teaching experience. From an early age, he explored many musical avenues which led to him being proficient at guitar, upright and electric bass, saxophone, and keyboards. Nick also offers lessons in music production, mixing, ear training, music theory, and composition. He attended William Paterson University, where he studied jazz under the likes of Christian McBride, Dayna Stephens, and Harold Maybern. Currently, Nick is active in the southern Maine music scene, performing with a wide range of groups in many genres, including rock, funk, and jazz. As a teacher, his primary goal is to nurture his students' passion for music while guiding them on their individual musical journeys. With a focus on fostering creativity and self-expression, Nick empowers students to discover their own unique path in music making.
