New Years Resolutions! - Have you already given up on the gym? Don't fret! (See what we did there?) Invest in yourself in other ways! We teach all sorts of instruments, at all levels of skill! Make this year a musical one!

Tech Tip! - Did you know that the height of pickups on electrified instruments can not only effect volume, but also cause improper tones? Generally, the best tone and volume can be achieved by having the pickups very close to the strings. Most pickups are magnetic and if they are too close to the strings they create a magnetic pull. The normal distance between strings and pickup pole pieces should be right around 1/8 of an inch if you are fretting the low E string (on bass and guitar) at the 22nd fret! Try adjusting pickup heights until you find the tone you like!
